I recently learned that a web application I was developing did not display properly in IE6. Turns out it was a CSS problem, but I had no way to test it as installing both versions on the same machine is problematic. Microsoft realized this and released an activated Windows XP Virtual Machine Hard Drive. This, in conjunction with Virtual PC 2004 will let you test in either 6 or 7 dependent upon the version of the package you download. A great tool and certainly very helpful in making my CSS appear correctly.
