About

Evan Carroll I would classify myself as a general technologist and User Experience Designer living in Chapel Hill, NC. I am constantly exploring new technologies and I hope to write about them here, as time allows. I also engage in a variety of web projects and you can learn more about these by checking out my portfolio.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Science degree, with a minor in Music, from the Univeristy of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, I was President of the Alpha Rho Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a men’s music fraternity. I was also a Section Captain and Pep Band Conductor in the Marching Tar Heels, as well as Webmaster for the UNC Bands. I have been a leader in the Boy Scouts of America since 2004 after completing the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 2000. In 2005 I was awarded the Cape Fear Award, which is given to adult leaders for outstanding service to youth. This award is nationally known as the District Award of Merit.

Please feel free to contact me and I look forward to talking with you.
